e-Portfolio Reflection:
What did you learn by creating the signature assignment? Be specific.
When I was doing the signature assignment, I learned a lot, mostly about real estate as a career. I picked real estate because I’m considering pursuing it as my career, so I learned why I would and wouldn’t be good at this. The first thing is that I have a big interest in it, I also find myself on Zillow and Utah Real Estate for fun seeing the houses for sale around me. Another thing I learned was the hours you put into it, you’re working when others aren’t. You work a lot of nights and weekends because that’s when your clients are available. Another thing I learned with the hours, is that it’s flexible, there are times you can just take off, there is also more flexibility with working from home. Overall, I learned why I would and wouldn’t be a good fit for a real estate career. Let’s just say there are a lot of things I need to improve on to be a good Agent.
